Work experience program
Kingston Youth Services is committed to supporting the community and youth services sector by providing meaningful placement opportunities with the Youth Services team.
Our work experience program helps students meet their education requirements by:
- developing and enhancing their skills and knowledge
- exposing them to a real working environment.
It's a great introduction to a career in the youth sector or local government. Experience high caliber training, a progressing environment and the satisfaction of knowing your work really makes a difference.
Work experience is offered by Kingston Youth Services as an official process and is used by secondary schools as part of the curriculum.
Work experience is a formal agreement between City of Kingston, a secondary school and the Department of Education.
We strongly encourage students residing in Kingston to apply.
