Open Day 2025: Wrap up

Kingston Youth Services was thrilled to welcome the community to our Platform 81 Open Day on 14 November!

Young people and their families joined us for a fun-filled afternoon of creativity, connection, and hands-on activities. Visitors explored the space while enjoying colouring-in, crafting friendship bracelets, and friendly competition on the PlayStation, Switch, and table tennis table.

One of the day’s standout activities was the interactive quiz, which sent young people on a scavenger hunt around Platform 81. After completing the challenge, participants had the chance to spin the prize wheel and enjoy a sweet reward choosing from lollies, cookies, or a lucky-dip treat.

An ice cream cart added an extra touch of delight, giving everyone a refreshing treat as they discovered the inclusive and welcoming environment of Platform 81 and the many opportunities available to young people.

Overall, the Open Day was a fantastic celebration of Kingston Youth Services.
