Youth Act Make a Difference visit

During the school holidays, Youth Act participants generously volunteered their time at Make a Difference Dingley Village, gaining hands on experience while giving back to the community.

Make a Difference Dingley Village is a not-for-profit organisation that provides vital emergency relief to families in need, offering food, essential items, and financial counselling services.

Throughout the day, Youth Act participants assisted with packing food hampers, organising donated goods, and harvesting fresh produce from the garden. They also had the opportunity to learn about the support offered by the organisation’s financial counsellor. 

Participants found the experience both rewarding and eye-opening, and many expressed interest in continuing to support the work of Make a Difference Dingley Village in the future.
